ObjectStreamField getType() in Java

getType(): This method is available in the java.io.ObjectStreamField class of Java.

Syntax:

Class<?> java.io.ObjectStreamField.getType()

This method gets the type of field. If the type is non-primitive and this ObjectStreamField was obtained from a deserialized ObjectStreamClass instance, then Object.class is returned. Otherwise, the Class object for the type of field is returned.

Parameters: NA

Returns: a Class object representing the type of the serializable field.
