ObjectInputStream readUTF() in Java

readUTF(): This method is available in the java.io.ObjectInputStream class of Java.

Syntax:

String java.io.ObjectInputStream.readUTF() throws IOException

This method reads a String in modified UTF-8format.

Parameters: NA

Returns: the String.

Throws:

1. IOException - if there are I/O errors while reading from the underlying InputStream.

2. UTFDataFormatException - if read bytes do not represent a valid modified UTF-8 encoding of a string
