NetworkInterface isUp() in Java

isUp(): This method is available in the java.net.NetworkInterface class of Java.

Syntax:

boolean java.net.NetworkInterface.isUp() throws SocketException

This method returns whether a network interface is up and running.

Parameters: NA

Returns: true if the interface is up and running.

Throws:

1. SocketException - if an I/O error occurs.
