UUID.randomUUID() in Java

UUID.randomUUID(): This method is available in java.util.UUID class of Java.

Syntax:

UUID java.util.UUID.randomUUID()

Static factory to retrieve a type 4 UUID. The UUID is generated using a cryptographically strong pseudo-random number generator.

Parameters: NA

Returns: A randomly generated UUID.
