URL sameFile(URL) in Java

sameFile(URL): This method is available in the java.net.URL class of Java.

Syntax:

boolean java.net.URL.sameFile(URL other)

This method takes one argument. This method compares two URLs, excluding the fragment component.

Returns true if this URL and the other argument are equal without taking the fragment component into consideration.

Parameters: One parameter is required for this method.

other: the URL to compare against.

Returns: true if they reference the same remote object; false otherwise.
