Runtime.getRuntime() in Java

Runtime.getRuntime(): This method is available in the java.lang.Runtime class of Java.

Syntax:

Runtime java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime()

This method returns the runtime object associated with the current Java application.

Most of the methods of class Runtime are instance methods and must be invoked with respect to the current runtime object.

Parameters: NA

Returns: the Runtime object associated with the current Java application.

Exceptions: NA
